Times have changed and so has been the idea of a perfect master bedroom. There could be 2 or 3 bedrooms in a house, but there is only one master bedroom. The room is meant for the couple- it could be a newlywed couple or maybe for the oldest couple of the house. However, the fact that remains unchanged is that, the room is meant to be special.
The first point to be considered while decorating the master bedroom is that it should be made cozy for the couple can be romantic in case of the newlywed couple.
To start with, the old or bunker beds should be replaced by a king or a queen size bed. Put a mattress which is neither too hard and not too soft, there are a number of new technology mattresses available in the market, to choose from.
Once the first task is complete, next task on the list is getting the color done on the walls. As it is the master bedroom, try to apply shades which would enlighten the mood and give a cozy feeling. Now, let’s talk about the curtains, bed sheets and pillows. Keep the window and doors covered properly. Curtains should neither be too thick or too thin.
Select bed sheets and pillow covers in contrast to wall colors; this would give a bigger look to the room. Pile on a good amount of pillows and cover these with different vibrant colors, to give a lively look to the room.
Last but not the least, lets talk about lighting and wall fixture. The room should have enough light arrangements. Try to pick a few of the options available in the market. You can increase or decrease the light, as per your choice. The fixtures should add up to the mood of the room eg- a couple photo.
Master Bedroom Designs
While decorating the master bedroom, just keep one thing in mind. It is a place where you can feel cozy and enjoy the company of your life partner, without any disturbance. Thus, it has to be the best room of all the rooms in the house.

Love your master bedrooms. I see in one of your rooms you have a very short curtain rod. I am looking for a similar curtain rod that is just decorative. It would need to be around 12″ or so. Who makes them and where can I purchase them? Thank you.
