Choosing paint for your living room walls is almost as important as choosing the furniture. This is because the walls are the feature that sets the ambience in any space.

Alternatively you could simple opt for covering up half of your walls with wallpaper. If you have children, you may want to consider getting paint that is washable so that it will be easy for you to keep the walls clean.
Think about factors such as how much of natural light you will have in your living room, and the size of the space. Smaller areas with less sunshine would look even smaller with paint of a darker shade on the wall. You would need to go for softer hues like pastel colors or yellow to brighten up the room.
